What does this test include?
This blood package contains a 25-parameter CBC, ESR, glucose, urea, total protein, albumin, uric acid, total and direct bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, vitamin B12 and homocysteine.
Why might it be ordered?
- To review selected blood and nutrition-related markers while following a vegan diet.
- When symptoms or dietary history raise concern about anaemia, vitamin B12 status or metabolic health.
What sample is needed?
The panel may require one or more samples. The laboratory will confirm the material needed for every included test.
How should you prepare?
Fasting may be requested because glucose and lipids are included. Report vitamins and supplements, but do not stop them unless advised.
How are the results reported?
This panel does not measure every possible nutrient deficiency. Normal blood counts do not always exclude early vitamin B12 deficiency, so symptoms and diet still matter.
