TSH and free T4 (FT4) are commonly used together to assess thyroid function. Thyroid hormones influence energy use, growth, pregnancy, the menstrual cycle, bones, muscles and general wellbeing.
The package also includes a complete blood count with 22 parameters. A complete blood count reports the numbers and characteristics of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets and may help a clinician investigate symptoms such as tiredness, weakness or easy bruising.
